Mark Janis, MD
Dr. Janis graduated from Colgate
University before attending Medical
School at the University of North
Carolina. He then spent time as a
Medical Corps Captain in the United
States Air Force followed by residency
training in Internal Medicine at
University Hospital, Boston,
Massachusetts. He completed his
training in Medical Oncology and
Hematology at the same institution,
University Hospital in Boston where he
was an Assistant Professor of Medicine
before escaping the New England
winters for Southern California. He has
been in practice in Los Alamitos since
1978 and served as Chief of Staff of
Los Alamitos Medical Center from
1998-2000.
